On November 26, 2023, the forum was held at the Conference Center of the Net-An Building, South Campus, Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology. Jiang Ting, the 25th Secretary-General of the MBA Association of the School of Economics and Management at Southwest Jiaotong University, along with Vice Presidents Zheng Qi and Huang Shan, were invited to attend the grand event.
Themed "Alumni Economy: Driving Dual-Chain Integration," this forum adhered to the principles of openness, inclusiveness, and development with a global perspective. It aimed to build a cooperative, communicative, and shared global business service platform, enhancing the global impact of the Silk Road Global Business School Development Forum. The forum consisted of three major parts: the unveiling ceremony of the Global MBA Alumni Venture and Technology Achievement Transformation Base Alliance, the thematic reports of the development forum, and the awards ceremony.
The forum began with the unveiling ceremony of the Global MBA Alumni Innovation and Entrepreneurship, as well as the Technology Achievement Transformation Base, with participants capturing a collective commemorative photo. Centered around the theme of the summit, activities included keynote speeches on intelligent manufacturing and the digital economy, a roundtable forum on MBA education innovation and alumni innovation entrepreneurship, discussions on the practical experience of cultivating high-level system management talents, data science talent development and case studies, innovative practices in high-quality MBA education driven by AACSB international accreditation, and a thematic report on university alliance education models and IACBE accreditation cases.
During this summit, our university received several awards: the MBA Association was honored with the "2023 Silk Road Global Business School Top Ten Outstanding Association (Alumni Association)" award, the MBA program at Southwest Jiaotong University received the "2023 Silk Road Global Business School Most Valuable MBA Program" award, and Deputy Secretary Yan Libin of our school's party committee was awarded the "2023 Silk Road Global Business School MBA Outstanding Contribution" award. Additionally, Teacher Zhou Jing was recognized with the "2023 Silk Road Global Business School Most Beloved Teacher by Students" award, Jiang Ting was named the "2023 Silk Road Global Business School MBA Rising Star," and Ren Yun received the "2023 Silk Road Global Business School Alumni Innovation Entrepreneurship Star" award.
